英文摘要 | A second beam with one or several concentrated masses attached to the main beam by means of a viscoelastic layer can function as a dynamic absorbing beam. By performing the structural analysis and optimal design properly, this so-called dynamic-absorbing beam can reduce the vibration of the main beam very efficiently. Four examples are included in this paper to prove the potential of the dynamic-absorbing beam in engineering applications. |
