中文摘要 | 在研究藥物對於動物體之影響及抑制或刺激神經系統對動物體之影響或外在環境 對於動物行為之影響等研究,觀察並且分析動物在空間上的行為變化是相當重要的步驟。本 篇文章對於以定序誘導多飲行為( schedule-induced polydipsia, SIP )模式進行之研究 ,而設計一套電腦自動化之定序誘導多飲行為擷取系統,將動物之定序誘導多飲行為和動向 活性( Locomotion )及刻板行為( Stereotyped behavior )同時即時擷取,並利用設計 之自動化擷取系統取得之數據資料,發展分析軟體,對動物之行為進行量化分析,以達行為 分類及量化之目標。對於以定序誘導多飲行為模式進行之研究,即可將多飲行為之結果配合 動物之動向活性及刻板行為進行進一步之分析。 本系統利用 VOC ( voltage control oscillator )之紅外線發射接收控制線路, 進行 SIP 動物行為資料之擷取, 並以 200Hz 之採樣頻率進行 SIP 多飲行為之資料擷取, 以 10Hz 之採樣頻率進行動向活性及刻板行為 數據之擷取,經由分析軟體進行數據分析處理之後,可得到實驗動物之食粒掉落次數、壓桿 次數、舔水次數及移動距離和靜止百分比等數據。此外,除了將上述資料繪圖顯示外,尚有 動物移動軌跡圖以及活動軌跡統計圖表等數據記錄顯示。 |
英文摘要 | It is important to observe the local motion of an animal to study the effect of pharmacological and environmental stimulation and inhibition on the nerve system. In this paper, Schedule-Induced Polydipsia (SIP) animal behaviors were devised. In the developed system, software was designed to acquire and analyze the animal behavior. It was used to help the researchers to extract the necessary information from the recorded data. The experimental apparatus consisted of a number of subsystems. The operand chamber was equipped with hopper, pellet and lick sensor, and locomotion detector. The data acquisition and storage subsystem was self-designed and running on a PC. The time marker of the pellet drop, bar pressing, and water licking were sampled in 200 Hz. The image of rat's locomotion was thus detected by the 10 Hz voltage control oscillator (VCO) demodulated infrared signal. The parameters of drinking efficiency, inter-lick intervals, number of drinking bursts, temporal distribution of licking, temporal distribution of bar pressing, and locomotion were analyzed statistically to assess the behavior of animals. |
