英文摘要 | Excessive water production from gas producing wells is a serious problem. It is generally responsible for the rapid productivity decline as well as the increase in operating costs for water treatment. Literature had reported that polymer treatment of gas storage well strongly decreased water production without any adverse effect on gas injection or production. A new method has been developed in the laboratory to evaluate polymer for water control in gas production well. Two out of six polyacry-lamide-based polymers exhibit the characteristic that reduce permeabilities of water in porous media without significantly reducing the permeability of gas. It has been observed that injected polymer solution at high pressure caused polymer plugs. This brings out the potential problem that production well may fail to flow after polymer injection. Solution were also discussed to avoid polymer damage. |
