英文摘要 | GC/MS, with a detection limit of 0.5ηg for cannabidiol (CBD) and 5ηg for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBN), was used to identify the cannabinoids in the ethanol extracts of confiscated Cannabis, three samples of buo-ma-jen (seeds of Cannabis sativa), and Agave sisalana. Cannabinoids were identified in the unwashed seeds of the seized Cannabis and in two samples of the unwashed huo-ma-jen. In contrast, the ethanol washed seeds of confiscated Cannabis and the ethanol washed Agaves sisalana and huo-ma-jen did not contain cannabinoids. The huo-ma-jen was also cultivated to full plants which were then dried for quantitative analysis of cannabinoids by HPLC. The flowering tops of the female and male plants contained. 1.14% and 0.27% THC, respectively. The female flowering tops contained 0.005% CBN, whereas the male flowering tops contained negligible CBN. The combined leaves contained 0.12% THC and 0.01% CBN. The CBD contents in all samples were either negligible or unable to be isolated completely by HPLC. From these findings, we concluded that while the flowers and leaves of Cannabis contain cannabinoids, its seeds do not. Positive response of the unwashed seeds was most likely due to cross contamination with the flowering tops. |
