英文摘要 | This paper focuses on a discussion of planning the Department of Appli ed Foreign Languages-English (DAFL-E) core curriculum employed as the first such curriculum used at the junior college level. The core curriculum of DAFL-E in involves three prospects: language learning and application, business classes, and information management. The planning of the core curriculum is based on the goals of vocational education and the theoretical principles of curriculum design and ESL acquisition, and conducted through practical experience and data collection. Furthermore, the study proposes a blueprint for the core curriculum of DAFL-E. These subjects aim to equip students with multicultural perspectives and competitive skills as they enter the field of business. Finally, gaps between ideals and reality are discussed, and bridges for these gaps are suggested. |
