| 英文摘要 | The Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) program provides for dairy farmers to make wise selection and management decisions. Reports of milk quality and performance information as well as production information and management efficiency are published monthly for dairyman. There were 169 dairy herds, 7662 milking cows enrolled from July, 1993 to June, 1994. The average herd size for milking cows were 45.3 cows with an average parity of 2.85; the average milk yield (305-2X-ME) was 6,348 ± 32kg and the average daily milk yield was 19.38 ± 0.08 kg. The lowest daily milk yield was in August (17.67 ± 0.09 kg); the highest of that was in December (21.06 ± 0.01 kg). The average percentage of milk fat and protein were 3.68 and 3.16 ± 0.01%, respectively. The average milk somatic cell count (SCC) was 600,080/ml, the milk quality of cows in August had the worst SCC (769,260 ± 1,985/ml), but those cows in February had the best SCC (468,100 ± 1,460/ml). The lowest percentage of dairy cows whose SCCS number was under 4 was in September (55.4%), but the highest of that was in February (66.4%). Analysing the 6234 dairy cows' reproduction information for a year, the average days open was 163 ± 1.7 days, and the services per conception was 2.85 ± 0.02. The data indicated the reproduction efficiency must be enhanced, and milk production will be upgraded if the SCC goes down. |
