中文摘要 | 碎形的觀念可應用於膠體與界面科學中。碎形結構指的是在不同的觀察比率下皆具有同樣特徵的物體,而此結構的形成可經由擴散限制性凝集與反應限制性凝集等不同的機制來進行。許多膠體系統具有碎形結構,而一般都以光散射技術來研究,作者亦嘗試使用黏彈測量來求取膠體凝集物的碎形維度。經由理論與實驗所得比率性質與碎形維度的建立可助於瞭解膠體的物理特性與凝集機制。碎形分析在近幾年來備受矚目,雖然其在膠體與界面科學上的應用仍處於發展階段,但它的突破性無疑已為此領域開啟了新的研究空間。 |
英文摘要 | The concept of fractal can be applied to the colloid and interface science. Fractals are objects with a characteristic form that remains the same on all scales. Fractals can be formed by mechanisms such as diffusion-limited cluster aggregation (DLCA) and reaction-limited cluster aggregation (RLCA). Many colloids seem to be fractals, which can be studied by light scattering techniques. Rheological determination of fractal dimensions is still in developmental stage. The scaling properties and the fractal dimensions would lead to an understanding of physical characteristics and aggregation mechanisms of clusters. Fractal analysis provides new dimensions and uncovers a frontier to the area of study. |
