| 英文摘要 | The transformation mechanisms which high temperature austenite decomposed into various ferrite phases in steels are reviewed. Two categories of formation mechanisisms, namelyreconstructive and displacive, are found in steels. For low undercooling, austenite tends to transform into ferrite in a reconstructive manner, involving thermally activated atoms across the austenite/ferrite inter phase boundary. While the displacive growth of ferrite tends to occur at low formation temperature, which is associated with the gliding of crystal across the austenite/ferrite boundary and accomplishes a large shear strain. The formation mechanism of each individual phase in steels is discussed. Overall view of phase transformations in steels will be presented. |
