英文摘要 | While the liquefied natural gas(LNG) is stored in tanks, some of it vaporizes into gas at the pressure of 5kg/cm due toabsorbing the conducted heat from the wall of tank. Thevaporized gas is called Boiled Off Gas(BOG). There are two ways to deal with BOG. One is to burn itout, and the other is to reliquefy it by the cold energy of LNGat a ratio of 1 ton of BOG to 11 tones of LNG. The later isadopted by the Chinese Petroleum. Company(CPC). For the safety of the gas pipelines, users are requested toconsume a minimum amortized amount of gas at any one timein proportion to the annual planned consumption. This makesall the LNG-fired units constantly run and decreases theflexibility of dispatching units against the principle of meritorder dispatch. Accordingly, it is recommended that boostingcompressors be installed at Yeoung-An Terminal to pumpBOG directly into the pipeline leading to the Hsinta ThermalPower Plant. The amount of the recovered BOG enough foroperation of one of the gas turbines at Hsinta Thermal PowerPlant during off-peak. Study includes the tollowing analyses: 1.To simulate the consumption of all kinds of fuels with or without boosting compressors. 2.To compare the expenses among fuels with or without boosting compressors. A software. Electric Generation Expansion Analysis System (EGEAS), has been utilized for making the analysis moreprecise. It is concluded that installation of boosting compressors is economically feasible in spite of around NT$150 millioninvestment. |
