中文摘要 | 尺寸效應為破裂力學上具有很重要之實用性,在設計亦利用之,可僅由最大載重 之量測即可容易地決定材料破裂參數。本文旨在;(1)由幾何形狀相似試體上所作尺寸效 應之量測,獲得破裂性質之基本資訊。(2)論證材料在標準強度和破裂試驗下其尺寸效應 不被駁斥。(3)在設計程序上如何使用尺寸效應之手法。 經由分析及試驗,本文首先依據 Bazant 所主張之線彈性破裂力學之偏差和韌性機理之獨立 性,提出一個簡單之尺寸效應定律,並證明此定律提供一簡單之途徑得以決定破裂能量、破 裂進行區域之有效長度和 R -曲線,並顯示這些與幾何形狀有依存關係。 進而依照 RILEM 所推薦之破裂工作法,依據 R -曲線分析之,可獲得破裂能量與尺寸之依存關係。 此外, 本文並由經驗性之研究和理論之分析確認在劈裂圓柱抗拉強度之尺寸效應,並對某些偏差提 出合理解釋。 最後,對於反駁 ACI-318 強度準則判斷結構是否破壞之適用性方面,本文對 無肋筋之鋼筋混凝土梁所作寬廣範圍之斜剪力破壞試驗之結果加以分析而提出修正公式。 |
英文摘要 | Size effect has been proven to play a significant role in fracture characteristic of pseudo-brittle materials such as concretes, rocks, ceramics, etc. This paper presents analytical and experimental study on the size effects in three folds: (1) to obtain basic characteristics of fractured materials from geometrically similar specimens; (2) to prove the validity of the law of size effect; and (3) to discuss the applications of the modified formula including the size effects to design of brittle materials. First, a simple size effect law due to Bazant's linear elastic fracture mechanics and toughening mechanisms is discussed. This law provides a simple way to determine the fracture energy, the effective length of process zone and the R-curve, which is shown to a geometry dependence. Second, the size effect recommended in split tensile strength is studied experimentally and analyzed theoretically. The results confirm the existence of size effect. For the larger size, there is a marked deviation from the size effect law and propose a reasonable explanation. Finally, the validity of coela-known formula recommended by ACI 318 design code will be discussed, and a modified formula is proposed to take the size effect into consideration. |
