英文摘要 | The "Switching Interface Management" (SIM) is the front-end processor of Unified Switching Operations & Support System (USOSS). It can be used to connect with four types of digital switching system such as S1240, GTD-5, 5ESS and TC-5. Meanwhile, it can access eight switching ports simultaneously and translate, filter, route and store switching messages in real-time. It allows operator to maintain any one of switches which are connected to this allows operator to maintain any one of switches which are connected to this system. We use standard PC as the basic hardware of SIM, and MS-WINDOWS (Chinese version) AND Visual Basic professional version for software development. It will simplify the procurement procedure and save a lot of administration cost. It also provides system administrator an easy-used operational environment. The article describes the following subjects briefly : (1) goal of development; (2) structure of hardware, software an network; (3) system design concept; (4) system data flow; (5) development prospect in the future. |
