中文摘要 | 本研究根據坊間二十二本有關臺灣第一代興業家的傳記或報導, 分析了三十一位 興業家的企業倫理觀。本研究採取類似內容分析法的方法,分析這些興業家的言談行為,藉 以瞭解解興業家對於企業的七個主要利益相關者( stakeholders )-員工、股東、顧客、 關係廠商、社區、社會大眾、以及政府的觀點以及重視的程度。 在員工關係上,我們發現員工發展、福利措施、與員工共享利潤是興業家比較常談論或比較 重視的項目。或許第一代興業家因為同時身兼企業之所有者與經營者,因此,興業家很少論 及企業與股東的關係。 由此, 我們可以發現, 第一代興業家似乎並無股東至上論( stockholder theory )的觀念。 在顧客關係方面,興業家強調產品生產與服務,比較少論及產品設計以及價格訂定。在關係 廠商方面,尊重供應商的努力與成本、願意為同業效力是比較受到重視的項目。興業家對於 企業與社區的關係則較少論及。至於社會大眾的關係,興業家比較強調贊助教育、文化、藝 術等公益活動,他們也相當強調社會救助與其他捐贈工作。在政府關係上,他們比較重視的 則是遵守國家法令。 比較提及各利益相關者的人數與頻次,興業家最常論及員工,其次社會大眾,第三則是顧客 ;第四至第七的次予分別是關係廠商、政府、股東、以及社區。 本研究以興業家的言談為分析內容,並以此推斷興業家所重視的企業關係。雖然言論與實際 行為未必吻合,這個研究至少可以相當程度地反映出第一代興業家的價值觀。 |
英文摘要 | Based on 22 biographies, this study analyzes 31 entrepreneurs' perspectives of business ethics. This study examines the frequencies of entrepreneurs' words and behaviors that are related to business' stakeholders, namely, employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, community, governments, and general public. Regarding to the employees, the study finds that employee development, fringe benefits, profit sharing are most frequently cited by entrepreneurs. Maybe due to the reason that most entrepreneurs are also the largest shareholders of their companies, we find that entrepreneurs hardly mention or concern about shareholders' value. On the relationship with customers, entrepreneurs emphasizes product manufacturing and product service. They do not talk about product design and pricing as often. Regarding to suppliers' effort and cost, and volunteering service work for the whole industry are also quite often being mentioned. Entrepreneurs hardly discuss community relations. With regard to general public, entrepreneurs emphasize educational and cultural kind of activities. They also emphasizes the necessity of conducting social service work. Regarding to the relationship with the governments, they emphasize that business should follow legal requirements. Comparing the frequencies of being mentioned among various stakeholders, this study finds that the orders are the following: employees, general public, customers, suppliers, governments, shareholders, and community. This study tries to use the frequency of word to reflect the importance of different stockholders in entrepreneurs' minds. Although speech and actual behaviors might differ, this study, to some extent, reflects entrepreneurs' value system on stakeholders. |
