中文摘要 | 為提供中華民國國家資訊通訊基礎建設(NII)所需之資訊傳訊傳送骨幹網路,中 華電信公司使用本所自行研發的ATM交換設備(如BEX_VPX交換機與AMX2多工機), 積極建設全區之ATM寬頻通信試用網路,並於85年順利完成全區十部BEX_VPX之網路 建設,並進行各項NII展示與試用工作。目前,有數項寬頻服務正在試用,如遠距醫療、視 訊會議、遠距教學、影像傳送及區域網路互連等。故,路徑VPCI的資料,在BEX_VPX與 AMX2間扮演著不可或缺的角色,所以,在BEX_VPX與AMX2間,如何維持路徑VPCI 的一致性,就顯得相當重要。在本篇文章中,將針對BEX_VPX與AMX2在發現路徑VPCI 有不一致時,如何透過訊息的溝通來加以改善,最後,並探討AMX2在這項功能加強上的 設計種種。 |
英文摘要 | To support the deployment of the communication backbone for National Information Infrastructure (NII) in Taiwan, Chunghwa Telecom is aggressively driving a nationwide ATM-based broadband network and service trial project now. The trial uses the ATM virtual path (VP) switching system, including ATM VP switches (BEX-VPX) and ATM multiplexers (AMX2) equipment, developed by Telecommunication Laboratories (TL) of Chunghwa Telecom. Under this project, ten ATM switching systems have been deployed by 1996. Based on the established infrastructure, applications of video conferencing, distance learning, distance medicine and image transferring are provided now. The consistency of BEX_VPX and AMX2 for routing VPCI table should be controlled. In this paper, it will focus on specific message communication between BEX_VPX and AMX2 to inhibit the inconsistency of routing VPCI data. Additionally, it will describe software procedures design corresponding to AMX2 enhancement. |
