英文摘要 | In our previous work [1], a self-routing ATM switch has been proposed for the broadband ISDN. It consists of several baseline networks, constructed in a parallel manner, to provide multiple paths between each input-output pair. This reduces the internal contention probability. Moreover, a new input queueing architecture is applied to each input port controller to reduce the head of the line blocking probability. A novel output queueing architecture is used to resolved the output contention. In this paper, equations are derived to investigate the performance under uniform traffic. Numeric results show that the proposed switch achieves good loss-delay performance. |
