英文摘要 | In order to improve the earthquake-resistancy of existing school building, in this paper, the ultimate design of RC building recommended by AIJ has been adopted to do the retrofitting design. The design detail of the procedure is illustrated by Chen-Su Building of Ta-cheng Junior High School, located in Tainan city. After the retrofitting design, the collapse acceleration of the building is higher than 350gal, and the damage mechanism changes to beam-yielding type. |
