英文摘要 | To improve the geometric design on irregular or complex surfaces and to reduce the difficulty in machining, an interactive expert system, which is based on the choosing of machiningparameters, is integrated with CAD/CAM system for more efficient milling machining. Theprocess of this integrating is as follows: First, use the bicubic B-spline surface modeling algorithm with the graphic supportingsoftware (GSS) in the CAD system to generate desired geometric models for machining parts.Second, input all the fundamental machining factors into the expert system. According to thedesigned geometric model, the proper machining parameters and suitable tool can be obtained.Third, test the machining tool path in turn in three ways:(l) cut along the staircase of the uaxis (2) cut along the staircase of the v-axis (3) cut rotationally along the u and v-axes. Afterfinding the best tool path through simulation, this information can be transferred to the NCcode for machining. Here we take a saddle surface for example to demonstrate the feasibilityof this system. |
