英文摘要 | In The Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905 brought about a great change in modern Japanese Media. In addition, it had a large influence on literature, causing a sensitive response especially among the Bright Star group of poets (Myojo). In looking at poetry, songs, and criticisms, I analyze how the two representatives of the Bright Star poets, Akiko Yosano and Takuboku Ishikawa, pictured the Russo-Japanese War.Although Akiko and Takuboku held a common principle of ”World Peace”, the worlds they expressed were strikingly different. I aim to verify the literary meaning behind this difference. Furthermore, I prove that the turning point in changing their differences into similarities was brought about by Tolstoy's ”Russo-Japanese War Essay”. |
