英文摘要 | A great difference lies in the Japanese education system before and after worldwar II. The teacher education system in prewar Japan followed the Europeaneducation system whose main objective was to cultivate loyal and patriotic teachers.In postwar, an American open education policy was adopted advocating the spirit offreedom and democracy. A university level was, meanwhile upgraded emphasizing thequalification and professionalism of teachers. Much effort had been made topracticum. The study deals with teaching practices from a viewpoint of historicaldevelopment and background, to find the limitation of educational laws andregulations; and from the curriculum programs, to observe the in-depth conceptionand the manifest aim leading to a progressive training method in teacher education. |
