英文摘要 | To investigate the imposition of different walking cadences on gait control, this study consisted of six healthy mates who walked in four different cadences(60 steps/min, 80 steps/mm, freecadence, 120 steps/min ) after practice in each cadence five times previously. All subjects walked5 trials. Ten seconds of raw electromyographic data were simultaneously collected in each trial.Electromyographic profiles ofpretibial group and calf group, modeled in Gaussian pulses in association with parameters estimation technique, were employed as quantitative measurements oftemporal pattern inherent in human locomotion. Two important parameters including varianceratio(VR) and phasic activity of a gait cycle were utilized to describe the characteristics of gaitcontrol. In this study, the phasic activities of 60 steps/min, SOsteps/min and 120 steps/min weresignificantly different in calf group (p<0.01). The phasic activity of slower walking cadence delayed while the phasic activity of 120 steps/min was parallel to that of free cadence, in pretibial group, a similar delayed trend without statistical significance was found. The VRs of different walking cadences in both muscle groups were significantly different(p<0.01) as comparedwith that of free cadence which was apparently smallest close to the VR of 120 steps/min. inexamining VRs of both muscle groups, the VR ofpretibial group of 60 steps/min was significantly different from that of calf group(p<0.05). Those evidences indicate that walking cadenceis an important factor to gait control and coordination within ankle antagonists. However, on theaccount of considerable intersubject variation, further research is needed to confirm the generaliwbility of these findings. (JPTA ROC 1992; 17(2): 133-141) |
