中文摘要 | 累積和檢驗法 (CUSUM, cumulative sum for quality control) 在品質控制中佔有重要之地位。據長期研究,已知在諸多檢驗品質改變方法中,彼為最優良方法之一。但此方法必須有二已知常數,即標準值及標準差,但在某些與品質控制類似問題中,標準值必須由樣本來估計,即其亦為一隨機變數。本文所討論之問題即在標準值為一觀察值時,累積和方法應如何應用o根據計算顯示,傳統所用之平均跑長 (ARL, average run length) 已不適用於此種情形,必須要與一個新定義的變異係數同時應用,方可得到較合理之檢驗法。 |
英文摘要 | Cumulative sum (cusum) plays an important role in quality control. It is considered as one of the best methods in examining the change of quality in a production process. However, in using this method, two parameters, the target value and standard deviation must be known. There are poblems similar to quality control in biomedical research that the target value has to be estimated from a sample, i.e. it is a random variable. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the property of cusum in the situation when the target value is estimated. Our computation indicates that the traditional average run length (ARL) is not suitable for出is situation. A new quantity defined as the coefficient of variation must be evaluated simultaneously in order to make a good selection in using cusum. |
