英文摘要 | A computational study is made to determine the flow structure of two turbulent air jets issuing at the same velocity from two identical plane nozzles impinges on a far flat plate. The calculation procedure employs the k -εturbulence model and the solution technique uses the SIMPLE-C algorithm coupled with the powerlaw scheme. The parameters studied were for a Reynolds number of 1.35x 10³x10 and a exit jet height of H/D = 6 at different impingement angles and the strength of cross-flow. The results show that the flow structure is significantly affected by the impingement angles and the cross flow. The spreading of fountain and the variation of the streamwise centerline velocity of fountain are solved first and a satisfactory agreement is found in comparison with the relevant experimental data. |
