英文摘要 | The purposes of this study were to investigate: 1) the influence of six types of parents' child-training attitudes on self-concept: 2) the influence of high/low scores of parents' child-training attitudes on different dimensions of juvenile delinquents' self-concept. Parent Child-Training Attitude Scale and Tennessee Self Concept Scale were administrated to fifty-five juvenile delinquents to collect data for estimating correlations between scores of parents' child-training attitudes and scores of juvenile delinquents' self-concept. To compare the differences of juvenile delinquents' self-concept, the top 27 percent of scores and the bottom 27 percent of scores on parents' childtraining attitudes were drawn as base-line to determine high/low attitudes of parents' child-training. The major findings of this study were as following: 1. Parents, who were over-refusing, contraditory and having differential attitudes in their child-training, affected self-concept of juvenile delinquents in the most negative way. 2. Fathers, who were over-strict in child-training, affected selfconcepts of juvenile delinquents in the most negative way. 3. Scores on Physical Self, Personal Self, Family Self, Identity, Behavior and Total Positive in Tennessee Self Concept Scale, juvenile delinquents whose fathers had higher scores on child-training attitudes were significantly higher than those whose fathers had lower scores on child-training attitudes. 4. Scores on Physical Self, Moral-Ethical Self, Family Self, Social Self, Identity, Self Satisfaction, Behavior and Total Positive in Tennessee Self Concept Scale, juvenile delinquents whose mothers had high scores on child-training attitudes were significantly higher than those whose mothers had low scores on child-training attitudes. |
