英文摘要 | Only in 1973, two and a half centuries after her death, wasHe Shuangqing recognized by a Taiwan historian as one ofthe three major women lyric poets in the Qing Dynasty. The author here outlines her impassionate quest in theUnited States for the life and poetry of the poet. Throughher search she unearthed scholar-author Shi Zhenlin, whomthe poet entrusted with her work for inclusion in hisnotebook, West Green Random Notes. This notebook alsorecorded pertinent glimpses of the poet's life as thedaugther-in-law in a poor, uncaring farm family, and of herliterary relationship with Shi and a group of scholars ralliedby Shi as her audience. |
