中文摘要 | 本試驗目的探討梅雨期間 (4 至5 月份) 於荷蘭泌乳牛飼糧中補充維生素C 與鐵對泌乳性能及血液性狀之影響。試驗採用含10 天變積期的完全逢機設計,將24 頭泌乳中期 ( 泌乳期150±44 天) 荷蘭乳牛依體重、乳量、胎次與泌乳天數逢機分成兩組,分別為提供基礎日糧之對照組及每天每頭補充30g 維生素C 與600 mg 鐵之處理組,為期60 天。梅雨期間 (4 至5 月份) 平均溫溼度指數 (temperature-humidity index, THI) 為79.9。試驗結果顯示,飼糧中補充維生素C 與鐵未影響乾物質採食量、體重、乳產量,但是有提高泌乳效率 ( 產乳量/ 乾物質採食量) 之趨勢 (P = 0.16),牛乳的乳成分則未受到飼糧中補充維生素C 與鐵顯著影響。血液性狀部分,飼糧中補充維生素C 與鐵顯著增加血漿中平均紅血球血紅素含量 (mean corpuscular hemoglobin, MCH; P = 0.04) 以及有增加血清中葡萄糖 (glucose, P = 0.13) 與血漿中平均紅血球容積 (mean corpuscular volume, MCV; P = 0.08) 之趨勢,其餘血清中總蛋白質、白蛋白、球蛋白、麩胺酸草乙酸轉胺酶 (glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, GOT)、鹼性磷酸酶(alkaline phosphatase) 與乳酸脫氫酵素 (lactate dehydrogenase, LD) 等,及血漿中紅血球、白血球、血紅素、血球容積比與平均紅血球血球素濃度 (mean corpuscular hemoglobinconcentration, MCHC) 等皆未受到影響。綜上所述,梅雨期間飼糧中補充維生素C 與鐵有提升泌乳效率、血清葡萄糖及血漿中MCH 與MCV 現象。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of dietary co-supplementation of vitamin C and iron on the lactation performance and blood parameters response of Holstein lactating cows during the plum rain season (April and May). A complete randomized design with 10 days covariate adjustment was adopted. A total of 24 Holstein lactating cows (average 150±44 days in milk) were assigned into two groups according to their body weight, milk yield, parity and days in milk. The cows received diets containing 0 (control group), and 30g vitamin C and 600 mg iron (head/day) (treatment group) for 60 days. The average temperature-humidity index (THI) was 79.9. The results showed diets added with vitamin C and iron did not affect dry matter intakes, milk yield, and body weight, but trended to increase the milk efficiency (milk/intake) of the treatment group (p = 0.16). Adding vitamin C and iron did not significantly affect milk composition. Co-supplementation with vitamin C and iron increased serum glucose (p = 0.13), plasma mean corpuscular volume (MCV; p = 0.08), and plasma mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH; p = 0.04) ; however, the total protein, albumin, globulin, calcium concentrations, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activities in the serum, and red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration and platelet in plasma were not significantly affected in the treatment group. In conclusion, co-supplementation of vitamin C and iron into the diet of lactating cows tended to increase milk efficiency, serum glucose, plasma MCH and MCV during the plum rain season. |
