中文摘要 | 浪漫的愛為伴侶結合、選擇配偶和社會依附之重要元素,對身體健康和智能具正面作用。目前已經知道愛亦是一種回饋經驗,但是對浪漫的愛的中樞神經迴路並不完全瞭解。本文收集關於浪漫的愛與功能性核磁共振影像之文獻,分析相應的位置和運作因素。結果共有9篇相關研究,包括185人,女性122位,而男性63位。綜合分析顯示神經活化和去活化位置主要在中腦邊緣途徑和中腦皮層途徑之上,具有區域特異性。活化區域包括左側之前額葉,右側之被殼、視丘、下視丘,兩側之島葉、海馬迴、尾狀核、前扣帶迴、後扣帶迴,和任一側之小腦和頂葉。去活化區域則包括右側之前額葉、上和中顳葉、伏隔核,和兩側之杏仁核、後扣帶迴。浪漫的愛之運作,隨著時間增加,尾狀核之活性和前額葉之去活性漸漸減少。除了在早期浪漫的愛之發生和維持,右側之尾狀核在維持長期熱戀中亦應扮演重要地位。熱戀程度與右側之尾狀核、海馬迴,和左側之被殼、前扣帶迴有正向相關。不同性別、性方向和年齡對浪漫的愛之活化或去活化位置沒有明顯差別。這些結果說明浪漫的愛在中樞神經系統中,由不同特定位置之神經互相分工,調控感受、情緒、認知和其他反應,確保愛的發生和持續,維繫人類感情、家庭和社會正常運作。 |
英文摘要 | Romantic love is crucial for partner bonding, mate choice and social attachment, and also benefits for physical and mental health. Up to now, love is known a reward experience. However, the central circuit of romantic love is still clearly known. In this study, we collected publications concerning for studies of romantic love by functional magnetic resonance imaging in different databases, and analyzed the localizations and operative factors of romantic love. Finally, there were nine publications found after detailed literature search. There were 185 persons, including 122 women and 63 men. Sexual orientation was heterosexual in 171 persons whereas homosexual in another 14 persons. The results showed that activation and deactivation of brain occurred mainly within the mesolimbic and mesocortical pathway with specific clustering areas. Activation was clustered at left prefrontal cortex, right putamen, thalamus and hypothalamus, bilateral insula, hippocampus, caudate nucleus, anterior cingulate gyrus and posterior cingulate gyrus, and either side of cerebellum and parietal lobe. Deactivation was clustered at right prefrontal cortex, superior and middle temporal gyrus, and nucleus of accumbens, bilateral amygdala and posterior cingulate gyrus. The activity of activation in caudate nucleus and deactivation in prefrontal cortex progressively decreased along with the time extension of romantic love. Besides of occurrence and maintenance of love in initial stage, the right caudate nucleus plays an important role for romantic love in long-termed relationship. The intensity of passion positively correlated to right caudate nucleus and hippocampus, and left putamen and anterior cingulate gyrus. Gender, sexual orientation and age did not show difference in activation or deactivation. Therefore, specific brain areas co-operatively modulate the romantic love, and regulate the response of feeling, emotion, cognition and other function. These networks and interactions assure the occurrence and maintenance of romantic love to promise an appropriate operation of affection, family and society. |
