英文摘要 | Roundness is the basic parameter to estimate the workpiece form error. Spindle is a commonly used structure to provide the revolving motion in machines and instruments. As no spindle rotation is perfect, the resulting error motion is a quantity to evaluate its precision. Roundness and spindle error motion are dependent and affect each other; therefore, they are both sides of a problem in precision engineering. Roundness and spindle error motion measurements are two fundamental issues in geometrical measuring technique. They play an important role in precision engineering which is a emerging science based on precise testing technique, precision machining technique, microelectronic technique and photo electronic technique. Taking the axis of the minimum circumscribed cylinder of the measured points on the cylinder shank as the datum axis, this paper provides models of the minimum circumscribed revolving surface. The minimum circumscribed revolving surface should be defined on the basis of this datum axis. |
