英文摘要 | The outcome of immediate implant placement after tooth extraction has been shown to be as predictable as implant placement into healed sites. However, more and more clinical studies reported that unsatisfactory esthetic results in immediate implant cases may occur. Recent investigations indicated that immediate implant placement can not completely preserve the entire bony wall surrounding an implant. Several factors have been reported to influence hard and soft tissue response following immediate implant therapy, including jumping distance between the implant and socket wall, buccal plate integrity, orofacial position of the implant, as well as the technique and material used for augmentation. In this article, these influencing factors will be addressed in detail and the results of some surgical techniques for enhancing bone regeneration will be compared. The guided bone regeneration can be applied to implants placed into fresh extraction socket. The use of barrier membrane & bone grafting material will reduce the amounts of bone resorption in immediate implant therapy, especially for the cases with the buccal dehiscence defect or the pen-implant defect greater than 2 mm. In conclusion, immediate implant placement requires careful case selection and delicate surgical technique to achieve optimal esthetic results and long term tissue stability. |
