中文摘要 | 球墨鑄鐵可添加各種合金元素(例如Cu, Mo, Cr等)來達到改善機械及化學性質的目的,已廣泛地被使用在管件、齒輪、農機業及汽車業等,然而其添加合金元素在抗菌行為方面的效應,仍鮮有所聞。因此,本研究嘗試利用添加微量(1wt.%)Cu、Mo合金元素之兩種球墨鑄鐵與未添加合金元素者,分別進行抗菌實驗,然後評估此兩種合金元素對球墨鑄鐵抗菌性之影響。主要實驗方法乃依據規範JIS Z2801進行抗菌實驗,並使用革蘭氏陰性大腸桿菌(ATCC8739)作為試驗之菌株。實驗結果顯示,利用EPMA的分析發現1 wt.%Cu、Mo合金元素在球墨鑄鐵中可均勻分佈,沒有偏析的現象。在抗菌實驗方面,添加1 wt%Cu球墨鑄鐵經過1hr後,產生的抗菌率即可達到99.99%;添加1 wt%Mo球墨鑄鐵需經過24hr後,其抗菌率才可達99.99%。然而在抗菌實驗過程中,不管有無添加Cu、Mo合金元素之球墨鑄鐵皆發生嚴重腐蝕現象。 |
英文摘要 | It has been well-known that various alloying elements (such as Cu, Mo, Cr, etc.) can be added to ductile irons to improve their mechanical and chemical properties. Ductile cast irons have been widely used in pipes, gears, agricultural industry, automotive industry, and so on. However, there is a lack on the information that the alloying effect on antibacterial behavior of ductile iron. Therefore, this study had tried to add 1wt.% Cu or Mo to the ductile iron and then conducted antibacterial experiments. The aim is to evaluate the effects of Cu and Mo on the antiseptic property of the ductile irons. The experimental method is mainly based on the specification of JIS Z2801 for antibacterial experiments, using Gram-negative Escherichia coli (ATCC8739) as the strains. The experimental results show that the distributions of Cu and Mo in the matrix of both 1%Cu-added and 1% Mo-added ductile irons are quite uniform, without signs of segregation as analyzed by EMPA. Concerning the antibacterial behavior, the ductile iron containing 1wt% Cu reveals good antibacterial efficiency up to 99.99% after 1 hr, while the iron added with 1wt% Mo needs the immersion time of 24 hr to obtain the same antibacterial efficiency (99.99%). However, regardless of alloying addition or not, it is also found that the irons take place severe corrosion phenomena during antibacterial experiments. |
