中文摘要 | 全人教育是因材施教的教育,而科學史融入科學教學,正可達到此一境界;全人教育是培育懂得運用 教育來實現生活的教育,而科學史融入科學教學的概念,可使學生結合科學-技學-社會的關係,解決日常 生活的問題,實現教育即生活;全人教育是健全人格的教育,而科學史融入科學教學,可使學生了解科 學本質、科學方法與科學精神,明是非辨真偽,化不合理於無形,健全品德操守,培育自在圓融的人生; 全人教育是真善美的教育,而科學史融入科學教學,可改善學生學習態度,協助概念的學習與成長,並 可使學生了解科學教育的本質是求真、求善、求美的。 本文主要目的在於提倡以科學史融入科學教學 落實全人教育理念,透過專家學者的高度正面評價,此一方法對落實全人教育理念之效益頗大。 |
英文摘要 | Holistic education teaches according to students' abilities, and can be achieved by integrating history of science into scientific teaching. A holistic education is a guidance that ameliorates people's lives through education. With the unification of science history and scientific teaching, it is possible for students to internalize the relationships among science, technology and society, and to resolve quotidian problems in order to harmonize life with education. Holistic education benefits students' characters, too. By combining science history and scientific teaching, students are able to understand the basis, methods and the essence of science, to tell right from wrong, to correct errors, to have better moral judgment, and most of all, to improve their lives. Holistic education is the instruction of truthfulness, goodness and attractive suitability. Through the schooling of science history and scientific teaching, learners can, not only modify their learning attitude, but also advance their knowledge acquisition skills and eventually appreciate the excellence of scientific education. The object of this thesis is to advocate the incorporation of the history of science with scientific teaching, in order to make holistic education a reality. Through the positive compliment of scholars and experts, this can be attained. |
