英文摘要 | Abstract This paper is studying on the “Everyone Writes History” series, which was published by Cultural Affairs Bureau of Changhua County in 2005. The series have reached 36 volumes being presented to public up to now. In the first part of this paper, the subject introduction and paragraph excerpts of each volume are included. All volumes of “Everyone Writes History” series feature with diverse issues, simple language and abundant illustrations, which is suitable for villager to read and collect. In terms of the frequency of each region being discussed, there are the most volumes about Yuanlin Township, where famous author, Kang Yuan, teaches in local community university and arouses writing tendency to villages’ history. In addition, the more prosperous a region, the more often it described and introduced in the series. In terms of the authors, though most of them aren’t graduated from department of history, their works are considered with fixed quality. However, this paper also gives some suggestion: concentrate on certain subject; avoid fracture when describing order of time; use accurate words and punctuation;proofread carefully; make the most use of digital databases. Besides those technical problems, there is a significant point, “authors must be thoughtful to residents”. If the series can’t be read or liked by the local residents, there are no reasons that other people would like. The history restoration activities by writing “Everyone Writes History” series are priceless. Through coordination fragmentary historical data, the ancestors’ memory is able to reappear on the papers and become eternity. As a result, the meaningful activities should keep going and widely spread. |
