英文摘要 | In this paper, an investigation into improving dynamic electrode wear reliability in the electrical discharge machining has been reported. The strength-stress interference model and algebraic equation model are used to study the characteristics of the electrode wear reliability. Then, the Taguchi method, a powerful tool to design optimization for quality, is used to determine the machining parameters with the optimal electrode wear reliability in the electrical discharge machining operations. Through this study, not only the electrode wear reliability is improved, but also the machining parameters that significantly affect the electrode wear reliability in the electrical discharge machining operations are obtained. Experimental results are provided to illustrate this approach. |
