| 中文摘要 | 儒家是否為宗教?自清末以來即眾說紛紜,正反各持己見,而莫衷一是。現代人看待「宗教」一辭,往往是由西方的觀點來定義宗教。牟宗三先生就認為,宗教如一般人所想之通義,是以基督教為典型。宗教的基本形式,即宗教是否具有:1、宗教思想觀念,即教義。2、崇拜儀式、禮儀規範。3、宗教的教職制度及社會組織?本文以此三層面來考察清代時期,在台南(臺灣府)孔廟廟學中的儒學教化是否為儒教化? 古人的宗教觀和現代人是不同的,孔子本人及其後繼者皆未曾宣稱儒家是 宗教,然筆者認為儒家在廟學中所扮演的功能實與宗教無異。 |
| 英文摘要 | Is the Confucianist a Confucianism? From the end of Ching Dynasty , there are many different views about it , but never comes to an agreement. Modern people define the word “ religion” just according to the westerners’ views. Mr. Mou Zhung San thought that how people define Christianity, they also define other religion in the same way. What is religion ? The so-called religion is supposed to have the following factors : The first is its central idea, that is religion doctrines. The second is the act of worship , or rituals. The last one is that religion should be made of clergyman and organized. In this article , I will base my theory on these three factors and find if Confucian teaching in the Tainan Confucius Temple Institute.is Confucianism. Ancient people’s religion views differed from those of modern people. Confucius himself and his followers never declared the Confucianist is a religion . However , I think the Confucianist in temple studies acts as the real religion. |
