中文摘要 | 本研究旨在以自編的「國民小學社會科課程簡化、淺化意見」調查問卷與訪問座談方式,探討現行國小社會教科書的份量與難易度是否適切合理。研究對象為台灣省各縣市及台北、高雄兩直轄市的國小社會科教師共894人。 本研究結果發現:現行國小社會教科書一至六年級的四十八個單元中,有十九個單元教材份量過多,多半屬於高年級的範圍,其內容偏重歷史和地理教材性質。據此,本研究提出兩項建議供今後國立編譯館修訂課程的參考。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to collect opinions concerning the simplification of the elementary social studies curriculum in terms of difficulty and amount of content using questionnaires and group discussions. The subjects were 894 social studies teachers in elementary public schools from Taiwan province, Taipei City and Kaohsiung City. The results show that: Among the 48 units now used in the six grade levels, 19 units were considered too lengthy, 18 units were judged too difficult, and most of the problematic units were in the upper grade levels. In addition, the curriculum placed too much emphasis on history and geography. Based on these findings, the paper makes two recommendations to the National Bureau of Translation and Compilation to consider when revising the curriculum. |
