中文摘要 | 隨著資訊科學蓬勃發展,調查訪問也因充分利用現代電子科技而有更快更精確的品質,如CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interview) 與CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interview)系統的使用大大提昇電話調查與派員面訪的品質及效率。CATI系統發展最早在美國,約從1970年代中期開始,他們將統計中的機率抽樣以電腦程式表現,藉以提高調查回收率。然直到1980年代早期CATI系統才有較突破性的發展,他們使用電腦處理派員訪查和郵寄問卷,亦即混合調查 (mixedsu survey),我國及海峽對岸CATI的使用均已日漸成熟。近幾年一種新的人員面對面訪問方式正漸漸興起,稱為電腦輔助人員訪問系統(CAPI) ,目的在提高人員面訪品質以及調查資料的時效性,減少由人為因素所造成的非抽樣誤差;然CAPI系統的使用在國內尚付闕如。本文首先介紹CATI系統並由此轉入CAPI系統,並追溯它們的發展過程與系統功能。更重要的,我們明確討論為何利用國內客觀條件及市場需求,明確規劃出我們所想發展的CAPI系統基本架構。 |
英文摘要 | With the rapid development of information technology, statistical survey becomes more efficent and precise. The usage of computer assisted system, such as CATI and CAPI, increases the quality and reduces the cost in telephone interview and personal interview. The first CATI system was developed in America, in the middle of 70’s. They used CATI to help them to design survey, and to perform the probability sampling. CATI system made a significant breakthrough in the early of 80’s. They conducted personal interview and mail survey together with computer, called “mixed survey”. A new computer system assisting personal interview was developed recently, called CAPI. It replaced the traditional paper and pencil interviewing in personal interview. It also can raise the quality and reduce the non-sampling error. We briefly discuss the history of the CATI and the CAPI system, with emphasis on the FJS-CATI system (a locally designed CATI system). Finally, we discuss the basic structure of FJS-CAPI, which is still under development. |
