中文摘要 | 從節約勞力之觀點而言,若能以一次注射進行多種疫苗之免疫是較有效率的,因此本研究評估以口蹄疫疫苗及兔化豬瘟疫苗同時免疫豬隻之免疫效力。本研究共測試了兩種不同之同時免疫方法,其一為同時免疫口蹄疫疫苗及兔化豬瘟疫苗,且施打兩種疫苗於不同部位,其二為將兩種疫苗混合後,再施打於同一部位。免疫後之抗體力價檢測結果發現,同時免疫上述兩種疫苗並不會明顯影響豬隻對口蹄疫疫苗及兔化豬瘟疫苗之抗體反應,而且所有免疫過兔化豬瘟疫苗之豬隻,不論是單獨免疫或與口蹄疫疫苗同時免疫,皆可耐過豬瘟強毒株之攻擊。上述結果顯示,豬隻可同時免疫口蹄疫與兔化豬瘟疫苗,而可將兩種疫苗分別施打於不同部位,或將其混合後施打於同一部位,此項發現可協助建立能節約勞力之豬隻免疫計畫。 |
英文摘要 | Simultaneous vaccination of piglets against more than one infectious disease is preferred for practical and economical concerns. This study evaluated the efficacy of simultaneous vaccination of piglets against foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and classical swine fever (CSF). Two methods of simultaneous vaccination were tested: the first was separately inoculating FMD and CSF vaccines in different spots of the piglets, whereas the second was inoculating mixed FMD and CSF vaccines in one spot. After vaccination, the antibody responses raised by the two methods were compared with those raised by immunizing with FMD or CSF vaccine alone. The results showed that antibody responses to FMD and CSF were not significantly influenced by the simultaneous vaccination of the two vaccines. Moreover, all piglets vaccinated with CSF, either alone or together with FMD, remained clinically normal after the challenge. Our study demonstrates that piglets can be simultaneously vaccinated with FMD and CSF vaccines, either by separate inoculations or by a single inoculation of mixed vaccines. This finding is useful for establishing a practical and labor-saving program for vaccination against FMD and CSF. |
