英文摘要 | The ”dual curriculums” in Chinese universities refer to the courses of ”Moral Character” and ”Basic Marxist Theories,” which are required courses for every college student in China and considered the ”soul of humanity quality-oriented education in college.” And yet in recent years, the dual curriculums have not been as appealing or effective as they were before, which worries the visionary members of the education profession. The course of ”humanity quality-oriented education” or ”culture quality-oriented education” is equivalent to ”general education” that has been carried out for over two decades in Taiwan. From a Taiwanese perspective and through a more macroscopic and whole thinking, the writer suggests in this paper how to renew and continually develop the ”dual curriculums” in Chinese universities in the role of a scholar of philosophy of education and instructor of general education. Through document analysis, the writer discovers that the ”dual curriculums” are characterized by ”great moral education,” as they can fulfill and reinforce the education of socialism with Chinese characteristics on the one hand, and encourage young people in China to achieve self-realization through caring about and participating in the society on the other hand. |
