中文摘要 | 池上斷層位於臺東縣池上鄉,南北延伸共計約8公里。2003年12月10日,臺東縣成功鎮附近發生芮氏規模6.6地震。藉由在地震前後數次跨越池上斷層10餘公里的精密水準測量測線中,可發現地震發生前此一區域的地表垂直位移(抬升)量每個月僅約1.5公厘(BM702,約位於測線之中間點),但地震所造成的地表同震垂直位移(Vertical Displacement)高達10公分之抬升量。其中BM702自7月至12月地震發生後的每月平均抬升量為14.018公厘,測線最東側BM728每月平均抬升量為24.760公厘。震後一年此一區域持續產生地表垂直位移,BM702的每月平均位移量為8.101公厘,測線最東側BM728每月平均抬升量為7.945公厘。其抬升量較同震變形小,但依然比震前大近5.6倍。由震後一年的資料顯示,原來持續上升的花東縱谷地區,其高程反而呈現下降趨勢,近斷層區域則持續而明顯的抬升,斷層東側地塊則呈緩慢的下降趨勢。因此,本研究將兩測線地表垂直微變量最大的地點連成一直線,可描繪出成功地震引發池上斷層錯動的斷層露頭位置。由此顯示池上斷層為一具有活動性的地震斷層。 |
英文摘要 | The Chihshang fault with approximately an 8-kilometer-rupture is located in the Chihshang township, Taitung county. An earthquake (M□6.6), the Chengkung earthquake, occurred on 10 December 2003 in the vicinity of Chengkung township, Taitung county. In this area, there was a raising rate of 1.5 mm/month (at station BM702, the midpoint of survey line) by means of precise geodetic survey spanning more than 10 km across the Chihshang fault before the Chengkung earthquake. The coseismic vertical displacement can reach a value of 10 cm. The raising rates of station BM702 and BM728 (the eastern end of survey line) were 14.018 and 24.760 mm/month, respectively, during the period from July 2003 to December 2003. The post-seismic displacement persistently exists a raising rate of 8.101 mm/month at station BM702, meanwhile 7.945 mm/month at station BM728. The overall post-seismic displacements are smaller than the coseismic ones, but nearly 5.6 times larger than the pre-seismic one. The elevation of the Longitudinal Valley, which originally behaved as a lifted block, decreased gradually after earthquake through a geodetic survey over one year. In this study, we draw a line between stations with largest vertical displacements to depict the outcrop of the Chihshang fault associated with the occurrence of Chengkung earthquake. Therefore, the Chihshang fault can be considered as an active fault. |
