中文摘要 | 1996年,台灣詩壇由古添洪等八位,發起「學院詩人群」年度詩集出版計畫,自1997年至2007年,共出版七冊標榜學院詩人的詩選集,成員增至十七位。學院詩人如何自我定義,有無驗證標準?自許為學院詩人者,名實相符否?其創作特色為何?本文以「學院詩人群」出版的七冊詩選集為例,分成四個子題討論:一、形式體製的追求,二、抽象意念的玩賞,三、文化意識與信仰基礎的開展,四、學術行話與典籍的運用。歸結於完整詩藝所需之訓練、學院門牆是否形成創作障蔽,以及詩人面對知識應有的認知 |
英文摘要 | In 1996, Ku Tien-hong and seven other university professors started a project to publish poetry annuals under the title "The Scholar-Poets Group". From the year 1997 through 2007, seven such books with poetry written by the so-named scholar-poets were published, and the group now totals seventeen members. How do these scholar-poets define themselves? Is there any provable or justifiable criteri0n? Do these scholar-poets' work in actuality accord with the label they have chosen for themselves? What are their creative characteristics? Based on, and aiming to review and to analyze, the works in the seven collections of "The Scholar-Poets Group - Poetry Annual", the essay includes four subtitles, namely: 1) The pursuit of poetic forms, 2) The appreciation of abstract thinking, 3) The development of their basic faith and cultural ideology, and 4) The use of inspiration from the classics and academic terminologies. It concludes in exploring the integral trainings as required by the art of poetry writing; whether or not the gate of the academies blocks the creative mind; and what appropriate stance poets should take when exposed to academic knowledge |
