中文摘要 | 台灣因為新移民的加入及其子女的入學,使得多元文化的議題在學校日益被 重視。本文從教師教學的層面切入,強調多元文化師資培育的重要性,從教育的 立場看待多樣性,多元應是一種態度而不是口號,應是個過程而不是一連串的活 動,是一個現象而不是一個問題。文中首先介紹Marilyn Cochran-Smith所提出多 元文化師資培育概念性架構,此架構對多元文化師資教育提出八個關鍵提問,關 注多元文化師資培育與社區和政治、經濟文化之間的關係,是一個對於檢視多元 文化師資培育的政策面、研究面與執行面很有價值的批判性參考架構;再者,本 文亦一一檢視國內多元文化師資培育的現況;最後,從Marilyn Cochran-Smith的 架構對多元文化師資培育提出一些啟示與建議。 |
英文摘要 | Multicultural issues have gained their attention in Taiwan because of the en rollment of children of foreign spouses in schools. This study examines the importance of multicultural teacher education in teacher’s teaching activities. It is important to note that multicultural education is an attitude rather than rhetoric, a process rather than a series of activities, a phenomena rather than a problem. This study includes three parts. Firstly, it introduces a conceptual framework of multicultural teacher education designed by Marilyn Cochran-Smith, which presents a critical framework to review the political, research and practical aspects of multicultural teacher education. Secondly, the paper explores the state of multicultural teacher education in Taiwan. Finally, some suggestions based on Cochran-Smith’s framework are provided for implementing multicultural teacher education in Taiwan. |
