英文摘要 | Although there are numerous educational facts in human cultural history, pedagogy has not established. In view that pedagogy deals with knowledge of education, it must take a leading role for the practice of education, In order to establish pedagogy, it must have methodology as means for research. A comparison has made by the author between pedagogy and education and discriminated one from the other. Methodology of pedagogy is discussed in three phases: its purposes. its nature and scope, and its methods and techniques. Purposes: of pedagogical research are proposed as (1) to understand educational facts, (2) to compare social change, (3) to explore contents of culture, (4) to establish human ideal, (5) to find educational principles, and (6) to examine effects of educational practice. Nature of pedagogical research are coordination of philosophical and scientific approaches, and interweaving of continuity and creativity. The scope of pedagogical research is seen as consisting the whole body of ideas and phenomena relating to each of the areas such as philosophy. literature, history, mathematics, sociology, economics, politics, psychology. biology, and aesthetics. Methods and techniques used in pedagogical research include all those applied in educational research but forms rather an integrity of independent fragments and become a systematic body of research methods. |
