中文摘要 | 新教育社會學家所研究的主要課題是學校知識或教育知識(亦即課程),並且探 討與課程有關的教育歷程。但是,就學校知識社會學的研究而言,理論分析重於實證研究, 且偏向研究課程而忽略教學。透過美國、英國有關教學研究的文獻探討,我們可以發現,教 學的研究典範已由行為主義轉變到社會建構的研究途徑。鑒於研究與理論的發展趨勢,進一 步的課程與教學的實證研究必須要建立一套教育學理論。教育學可視為教學的科學,包括了 課程和方法論;或謂教育學是教育實際和理論的科學基礎。 本在文中,作者闡釋教育學理論之本質,探討最近有關課程與教學的實證研究與其主要的研 究趨勢。適切的教育學理論主要建立於「符號互動論」社會學以及「社會建構」心理學基礎 之上。此項整合的研究途徑,是在探究在教室社會情境中,師生共同創造課程知識的基本歷 程。雖然作者假定課程與教學理論是基於學校和教室的微觀研究,但在理論方面,教育學的 建立與發展更是主要的研究目的。 |
英文摘要 | New sociologists of education were determined to focus upon the topics of school or educational knowledge/curriculum and the exploration of cognate educational processes. Theoretical analyses of the sociology of school knowledge were more stressed than empirical studies and curriculum was dealt with more than teaching. Reviewing recent American and British literature of research on teaching, we witness a shift from a behaviourist to a social costructivist paradigm. In hindsight, further empirical research on curricuulum and teaching has to be carried out in order to establish theories of pedagogy, which is defined as a science of teaching embodyig both curriculum and methodology or as a scientific basis to the theory and practice of education. In this paper, we will explicate the essence of pedagogical theories, review recent empirical studies of research on curriculum and teaching, and trace their dominant approaches. What we take to be relevant pedagogical theories are based primarily on thee perspectives of symbolic interactionist sociology and social constructivist psychology. The integrated approach aims to explore the basic processes of the construction of curriculum knowledge in the social context of the classroom. Although we assume that theories of curriculum and teaching are school or classroom-based and microscopic in nature, our main theoretical concern lies in the substantiation and development of pedagogy. |
