中文摘要 | 全語言教學是語言教學中,一種重要的教學方法,其以整體觀點來進行語言學習的教學觀,不同於傳統的語言教學法。為增進對全語言教學的認識,本文以全語言教學的理念及其實施原則,作為探究的焦點。首先,分析全語言教學的意義,指出全語言教學是一套綜合性的教師信念系統或哲學觀,強調以學習者為教學設計的中心,從學習者的生活經驗出發,結合相關的學習領域,以跨學科的方式在真實情境的脈絡下,經由彼此間的溝通互動,進行實際的操作和演練,藉以增進學習者的學習興趣,並培養其問題解決的能力,從而促進個人的成長。其次,從人文主義、進步主義、建構主義和語言本能論來探討全語言教學的理論基礎,同時,強調全語言教學的實施應把握整體性、真實性、經驗性、探索性、自主性、社會性等重要原則。最後,指出全語言教學的發展並總結相關的討論。 |
英文摘要 | Whole language is one of important methods for language teaching. It is an approach for language learning from the whole aspect and differs from traditional teaching. In order to have a better understanding of whole language, the paper aims to explore the concept and principles of whole language. First, the paper tries to analyze the meaning of whole language. It is believed that whole language is a comprehensive system of teachers’ belief or philosophical viewpoints. Whole language puts emphasis on the learner to be the center of teaching and connect to the other subjects based on the learners’ experience. Generally speaking, whole language needs communication within each other and practice under authentic context by interdisciplinary way to boost the interest of learners and cultivate the ability to solve problems for personal growth. Second, the paper tries to explore the rationale of whole language from humanism, progressivism, constructivism, and language instinct emphasizing that the implementation of whole language should stick to the principles of wholeness, authenticity, experience, exploration, autonomy, and socialization. Finally, the paper tries to point out the development of whole language and conclude the above discussion. |
