英文摘要 | Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore patients’ locus of control determines the recognition, analgesic analgesic, and satisfaction of patient-controlled analgesia. This study is a cross-sectional descriptive correlation design. A convenience sampling consisted of 84 patients from the northern medical center. The results of this study were as follows: (1) Patients generally had negative recognition, the most negative recognition was "operative wound was very painful originally" and "unable with the analgesic completely to eliminate the pain". There was significant difference between recognition and sex. (2) Post surgery from one to three days most pain mean score were 3.5 (SD=2.7), 2.9 (SD=2.4), and 2.51 (SD=2.1), the post surgery within three days have 14.3% patients completely no pain, 25.1-44.0% patients endure moderate above the pain. There was significant difference between postoperative pain and post surgery experience. (3) The mean satisfaction was 7.85 (SD=1.9). (4) There was significant difference between pain locus of control and postoperative pain. There were no significant differences among patients’ recognition, pain intensity, and satisfaction. The characteristics of pain locus of control had little effect on analgesic efficacy. Implications of findings for nursing research and suggestions are also discussed. |
