| 英文摘要 | Sub-micron composites have the potential to be sued for many structural applications, especially for high temperature and aerospace components. Among the different types of reinforcement, particulate reinforced aluminum alloys have high potential for investigation and development. Their main advantages are that they can be manufactured and processed suing traditional methods; also their physical properties are reasonably isotropic. Because of their low cost and ease of formability, they have potential uses in many applications. Sub-micron composites were first developed for application in the aerospace industry, and then found application in other industries. Recently, sub micron composites were found to exhibit a remarkable resistance to dimensional changes during neutron, electron or heavy ion irradiation, as compared to alloys. This very attractive stability led to the research of high temperature studies focusing on the origin of the swelling resistance. |
