中文摘要 | 本文係利用分散聚合法製備次微米粒徑級高分子微球,以做為披覆鎳金屬層之基材。在微球製備方面,首先將聚乙烯基烷酮(PVP)溶於乙醇或純水中形成穩定介質,再將苯乙烯單體加入介質中,於適當溫度、攪拌速率與起始劑(AIBN或BPO)作用下,進行分散聚合反應。探討最初單體濃度、起始劑濃度、穩定劑濃度、聚合溫度及攪拌速率對微球粒徑的影響。實驗發現苯乙烯微球之平均粒徑隨最初單體濃度、起始劑濃度及聚合溫度增加而增大,隨著穩定劑濃度增加而減小。於200rpm攪拌速率下可製得單分散性佳之微球聚合配方,改用1000rpm攪拌速率時,其單分散性變差。然於200rpm攪拌速率下,單分散性不佳的聚合配方,改用400rpm攪拌速率時其單分散性反而變佳。 |
英文摘要 | The objective of this study is to make polymeric spheres in the monodisperse sub-micro range by the dispersion polymerization. Styrene monomer was polymerized with 2,2’-azobis isobutyronitrile (AIBN) or benzoy1 peroxide (BPO) as an initiator and poly(viny1 pyrrolidone)(PVP) as stabilizer dispersed in alcohol or in water. The effects of the initial monomer concentration, the initiator concentration, the stabilizer concentration, the polymerization temperature, and the stirring speed, on the particle size have been investigated. The experimental results show that the mean diameter of polystyrene mesosphere increases with increasing the initial monomer concentration, the initiator concentration, and the polymerization temperature, whereas decreases decreases with increasing the stabilizer concentration. The monodispersity of particles decreases as the speed was increased form 200rpm to 1000rpm and same ingredients for making particles with a uniform diameter were chosen under both speeds. But, the monodispersity of particles improved as the stirring spped was increased from 200rpm to 400rpm and the other ingredients for making particles iwht a non-uniform diameter were used under both speeds. |
