英文摘要 | Three Persons, and Two Lamps is obtained form notes-story (shihua biji) of Tang dynasty that recorded the stories of that a maid sewed a poem inside an armour (zhengyi cangshi). Borrowing form the theme of plaint in classical palace, the sotry explored the points of views of lesbian and the female desired world. It also opens another window of novel viewpoint for new-adapted plays. During the Wanli period of Ming dynasty, the northern zaju, Wnag Jide’s Male Queen, selected form the record of the homosexual relation between monarch and subject: the historical record Han zigao zhuan and the novel Chen zigao zhuan. Male Queen, which depicted male homosexual、hetersoxual、and bi-homosexual, is a rare wonderful work in classical Chinese opera. These tow plays had their own characteristics. Male Queen emphasized on describing the desired world and gender disorder under the construction of power; Three Persons and two Lamps stressed on portraying female particular groups who searched for emotional commitment within the confined palace wall. Two plays touched another sort of musing state of mind where mankind’s emotion deviated from the normal course of state. Both respectively took their own social structures and cultural trends as important backgrounds that just presented a comparison between classical and contemporary new-adapted plays. |
