英文摘要 | Maintenance of airway hygiene is very important in caring our patients. Impaired clearance of airway secretion can result in lung atelectasis, which contributes to disease deterioration. The clearance of the airway mucus could help to decrease medical cost, prevent complication, decrease mortality, shorten the length of hospital stay, and improve resource utilization. Many techniques are useful for the clearance of airway secretion, and chest physical therapy is the most frequently used. However, high-frequency chest wall compression (HFCWC) is used more and more frequently because of the advantage of decreasing of the workload of caregivers and providing higher efficiency of treatment. This article compared difference between HFCWC and other physical therapy in the clearance of airway secretion, reorganizes the lung function, degree of dyspnea and quality of life in patients with obstructive lung disease, neuromuscular disease, and post-thoracic surgery. |
