中文摘要 | 為達成競爭優勢,電信經營者須能以較低成本提供多項產品與服務;但為了提供新世紀服務之演進,大型電信經營者都須面對將既有維運支援系統擴充之需要。主要挑戰便來自於演進既有系統是否真可提供新服務。事實上一成功之維運支援系統方案除了須提供新服務與交貨管道外,尚須提供與新方案或既有方案之無縫隙接合。將維運支援系統演進至新世紀維運支援系統便牽涉了整合方案之典範移轉,網路服務(Web Services)便是在整合技術領域中之最新典範。它包含了業務功能程式之部署可由多位開發者藉由網路一起影響完成,也允許開發者再利用部份之程式應用部署另一業務流程,而不須再重新撰寫邏輯。有了大量的語言、標準及架構當成整合方案,你的技術方案強化了營運策略更大之彈性。本論文即是探討網路服務之基本觀念、在J2EE平臺建置網路服務及維運支援系統網路服務之初始實作。最後提出未來議題當成結論,特別是在未來運用網路服務技術強化維運支援系統之開發。 |
英文摘要 | To achieve competitive advantage, a carrier must be able to provide a wide range of products and services at lower costs. Large carriers are faced with the need to extend their current Operations Support Systems (OSS) solutions to support the evolution of next generation services. The primary challenge for these carriers is evolving the existing OSS solutions to provide these new services. In fact, a successful OSS solution must provide and support new services and delivery channels, as well as seamless integration with new and legacy solutions. Evolving the OSS to become “New Generation OSS” (NGOSS) involves a paradigm shift in which we can view integration solutions. Web Services is the newest paradigm in the integration technology community. It includes the deployment of business function programs over the Internet/Intranet that can be leveraged by multiple developers. The ability to deploy business processes allows developers to reuse them as part of their own applications instead of re-writing the logic. With the myriad of languages, standards, and architectures available to your integration solution architects, your technical solutions will make your business strategies more flexible than ever before. Issues of this article cover the essential concepts of webs services, building web services on J2EE platform, and the initial implementation of OSS web services. At last we conclude with some forward-looking issues, which speculate on some possible future uses of web services technologies to enhancing OSS development. |
