英文摘要 | Taiwan is dedicating its effort to the implementation of the Intelligent Transportation System, and hopes the adoption of high-tech to improve the island-wide traffic, air pollution, and vehicle management problems, and to encourage related industries as well. In order to fulfill the many functions of the ITS, it is crucial to build a sound communication platform to provide information channels between roadside system and onboard devices. In several communication systems, the Dedicated Short Range Communication standard is most suitable for ITS applications. The DSRC sorted by wireless communication medium includes the infrared communication systems and the microwave systems. Our team has dedicated to the infrared communication technology for years. Herein are the introduction of the homemade DSRC infrared communication system and its applications. |
