英文摘要 | Theoretical analysis on the radio characteristics a 3G WCDMA system in suburban environments is presented in this paper. This study begins with an optimization of propagation model based on measurement data, where the measurement is performed in the campus area of Yuan-Ze university as a demonstrating example, in order to assure accurate predictions of propagation loss that are very critical in the characteristic analysis. This optimized model is incorporated with fundamental communication theories to study the radio characteristics of WCDMA systems in terms of coverage, capacity and interference with respect to the variations of many channel factors, including fading margin, data transmission rate, system loading and interferences. Various existing models are also employed to perform similar studies and compared with the results obtained by the optimized model. |
